jobmate, software provider to the supply chain, construction and service management industries, has made two key appointments as the company introduces its revenue-generating ERP services to businesses in the UK and Ireland.

Joining the jobmate board as Non-Executive Director, Ian Newcombe - ex CEO of Sanderson Group plc, specialist provider of digital ERP solutions for the retail, logistics, food processing and manufacturing sectors - is upbeat regarding his role:

“During 15 years with Sanderson, I saw the development of numerous resource management software tools as business managers began to embrace the benefits of enterprise resource planning. Now, as jobmate brings its unique native cloud system to the logistics industry, I look forward to playing a key part in the company’s continuing success.”

The position of Sales Manager for jobmate in the UK and globally, is filled by Joe Stepien. His experience, gained over 10 years in the HGV and LCV sectors, saw his rise from IRTEC-accredited technician working with main brands such as Keltruck and Scania, through to running the after sales business of a leading UK dealer.

“jobmate are fast-growing software innovators whose native cloud operational solutions suit businesses of virtually any type and size,” says Joe.  “I’m looking forward to working with operators and suppliers across the UK supply chain and other sectors to provide tailored and efficient ERP solutions.”

Jobmate CEO and co-founder Chris Dalton comments: “We’re delighted to announce these important additions to the jobmate team. Our fully native-cloud operational ERP software is already available in a number of industry sectors and now, with input from Ian and Joe, I’m confident businesses in the supply chain and beyond will soon benefit from its numerous sector-specific applications.

“A job can be a task, a work order, a delivery or an action and to undertake these, numerous functions are required - including data entry, monitoring and control to achieve the overall task.”

According to Dalton, jobmate coordinates and streamlines every action connected to each job and being a fully native cloud system, the system is also fully cyber secure.

The ERP software, he further explains, holds comprehensive asset information including location, maintenance intervals, defect reports, customer status and vehicle history – all combining to ensure efficient, paper-free job management and ongoing compliance control.

Also, says the CEO, while jobmate allows users to quote, send invoices, and make purchases, it is not a financial planning system. It is however, established as a global partner with Sage - a best-in-class financial system and like jobmate, fully native cloud.

“Unlike other management software systems jobmate was originally developed to be used with a mobile handset and so is more intuitive and easier to use,” says Dalton.  “It is fully integrative, does not require expensive licences and service arrangements with various software suppliers and requires no potentially unsafe servers.”
