The Barcode Warehouse, the UK B2B technology solutions integrator, has launched a new service, ‘Managed Services Core’ to help small to medium sized businesses improve the management and efficiency of their mobile technology estate.

Already delivering a Managed Service that provides unapparelled device management solutions and data; The Barcode Warehouse identified a gap in the market for SMEs, who need a scaled down version of a full Managed Service but not just a repair loop, without having to fork out for the services and tools not suitable for smaller devices estates.

Stuart Evans, Head of Support Services at The Barcode Warehouse comments: “Having been supporting customers for over 18 years now, we have a deep understanding of what it takes to manage a device estate effectively to keep a business operating at peak efficiencies.  We’ve also learned over the years that smaller estates of 200 or less devices, simply need less, but we don’t think that should mean less good. So, we have packaged together our most utilised and popular support services and made them more accessible to smaller organisations, allowing them to scale the support they need when they need it.”

The new service, which the business says is targeted at device estates of technology such as handheld mobile computers, PDA’s, scanners, tablets, and mobile label printers of 200 or less, includes the most popular services offered by the company; incident management, buffer and repair management, break/fix repairs and device data reporting.

The Barcode Warehouse, which is also the go-to UK reseller for the top mobility technology brands including Zebra, Datalogic, Honeywell, Samsung and Panasonic among many others works across multiple sectors, with high-profile customers in retail, T&L, warehousing, healthcare, utilities, field service and construction; has recently opened a multi-million pound Innovation and Customer Experience Centre in the Midlands where customers can see and demo first hand the power of the latest technologies integrated with the best in class software and services.

Danny Rayner, Service Operations Manager – CoE at Baxi, one of the UK’s largest commercial heating and hot water systems solutions businesses, says: “The Barcode Warehouse have been 1st class in managing our estate of handheld mobile devices. Their service has meant our team of 200+ Customer Support Engineers have fully functional technology around the clock."
