IET London: Savoy Place joined the winners circle at the Hurlingham Club on Friday 5 October for the London Venue Awards as the team scooped the Best Space for Screen and Sound.
Recognising London’s newest, historic and most innovative event venues, the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) was awarded for its advanced digital infrastructure and use of sound and screen both inside and outside the venue, which continues to equip the venue for the future.
The winning entry showcased the multi-media facilities and service levels of IET London: Savoy Place, from the state-of-the-art lecture theatres, to video walls and sound system on the roof terrace, setting it apart as one of London’s leading STEM venues.
All 18 event spaces within the building are equipped with AV and communication equipment for events, which drew in more than 117,000 delegates through the doors in the past 12 months.
