BluJay Solutions, provider of supply chain software and services powered by the world's first Global Trade Network, has announced that Exide Technologies has implemented its Transportation Management software. Exide is a global provider of stored energy solutions – batteries and associated equipment and services – for the transportation and industrial markets.
Exide adopted BluJay's Transportation Management technology to integrate three North American business units into one platform and provide visibility across the business. Exide has seven manufacturing facilities, 13 distribution centers, and 66 retail branches in North America, with thousands of global customers and suppliers. The Transportation Management and Procurement solutions have enabled centralised control and data-driven decision-making in the first phase of a multi-year project to optimise Exide's supply chain.
