SATO, the global provider of Auto-ID solutions that empower workforces and streamline operations, will demonstrate how its printing solutions connect the last inch to labour and resource savings for its customers at the number one event for processing and packaging machinery, PPMA 2017.

On show will be SATO's next generation industrial thermal printers CL4NX and CL6NX with RFID encoding and Application Enabled Printing (AEP) technology. The combination of advanced technologies the printers offer gives greater flexibility to customers who have a requirement to simplify labelling operations and reduce costs.

"Our interconnected products and services are designed to make our customers' operations run smoother, more cost-effectively and with greater resource efficiency in a global marketplace. A global market that, technologically speaking, is advancing at a rapid pace", says Richard Cross, Sales Manager at SATO UK.

"We understand the challenges faced by our partners across the retail, healthcare, logistics and manufacturing sectors, who must meet the needs of their customers. At PPMA 2017, we'll be showcasing advanced printing solutions that meet the operational demands of today, as well as revolutionary new ideas that aim to solve the challenges of the future".

SATO will showcase an extensive range at PPMA, including its flagship S84-ex 4" OEM print engine with NiceLabel designer to reduce barcode label printing complexity and costs and the WS4, a new compact desktop label printer that delivers optimum performance at an affordable price.

In addition, SATO will present two solutions that address key global trends of the future. Its innovative linerless label range responds to increasing demand for sustainability in labels and packaging by supporting a reduced carbon footprint. Addressing the increasing demand from producers and manufactures for reliable coding & marking of expiry dates and lot codes, SATO will showcase their product coding solutions optimized for use with DataLase laser-reactive colour change technology.

"There's no one-size-fits-all formula to simplify our customers' labelling operations", concludes Cross. "At PPMA we'll demonstrate how to get the best results for a range of modern operational situations and scenarios by connecting the last inch with SATO".

SATO will be in hall 5 on stand G92 at PPMA 2017, which takes place between 26-28 September at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.
