LADA Image optimises Warehouse Management and launches new facilities with Infor SCE

Infor, provider of business applications specialised by industry and built for the Cloud, has deployed WMS from the Infor SCE suite at another warehouse of LADA Image, the official distributor of spare parts for LADA automobiles.

LADA Image provides the package of services needed to ensure repair and maintenance of LADA automobiles in the domestic market as well as in neighboring countries and beyond. LADA Image has a far-reaching dealer network all over Russia and several large warehouses in different regions of the country.

Currently, average monthly sales of spare parts by LADA Image exceed 1.5 billion rubles. In 2012, the company faced the task to replace the obsolete inventory accounting system with a modern WMS solution which would be easily scalable given increasing goods flows and new storage site, as well as adaptable to changes in goods processing requirements. LADA Image chose Infor WMS, and employed LT Management as an integrator.

At first, the solution was implemented at the warehouse in Tolyatti, and then at the new sites in Yekaterinburg and Tver.  This latest deployment of Infor WMS was conducted by LADA Image's own IT team using regular system capabilities with a minimum level of participation of external consultants.

The new Infor WMS has provided transparent and flexible inventory accounting, automated day-to-day accounting, and sped up order processing. It has also automated procurement and container sizing processes. Thus, LADA Image has been able to maintain utilization of containers at 84-87%. And the error in cell accounting has decreased to 0.00016%.

LADA Image is planning to extend Infor SCE use, in particular, to implement the Labor Management functionality at the existing sites.
