Brady´s new RFID Air Label for aerospace industries and airliners is ultra-thin and has a read range of up to 8 meters.
By attaching the RFID Air Label to non-metal components, safety and medical equipment, aerospace industries and airliners can easily track and trace any non-metal aircraft item or component during assembly or before takeoff. Where in the supply line are those composite parts we need? How many life vests are aboard? Do you need to replace any oxygen masks? To check, simply use a mounted or handheld scanner to pick up the birth records of every labelled item present. The scan will tell you where which items are and how many there are, keeping you compliant with a number of EASA requirements.
Just like Brady´s RFID label for metal aircraft components, the RFID Air Label weighs less than 2g and is available in 3 different sizes. The label is able to withstand extreme environmental conditions without the use of an overlaminate and is ATA2000 and AS7578 certified.
Print and program on-site
Brady´s on-site RFID print and program solution enables users to simultaneously program the RFID chip and print information on the label at location in 600 dpi. The intuitive software that accompanies the printer is fully compliant with the latest ATA Spec 2000, features manual up to fully automated data entry and an integrated validation process. Brady´s on-site RFID set up should enable aerospace manufacturers or airline maintenance to print & program an RFID label in less than 10 seconds.
