Infor, provider of business applications specialised by industry and built for the cloud, has announced the results of deploying Infor SyteLine by Infor partner FRONTSTEP CIS at "Technovek".
The ERP solution helps provide integrated control over all material and information such as procurement, inventory control of production materials and components, order receipt, management of the finished products warehouse, and sales. Following the system operation, the dynamics and forecasts indicate that by year-end 2016 the warehouse stock will have decreased by 35%, the time for customer proposal generation will have shortened 6-7 times due to automated product configuration, and the production costs for certain items will have been reduced by 10-12% due to lower expenses.
The Technovek management team initiated the deployment of a comprehensive automated ERP system in order to implement a sustained growth strategy through prompt response to market demands in a competitive environment, and at the same time to reduce labor intensity and eliminate incorrect data from the company's business processes.
The Infor SyteLine application forms the basis for this system. FRONTSTEP CIS was chosen as an integration partner based on their many years experience in successful industrial automation,.
The automation loop includes: request receipt, product configuration, pricing, customer proposal generation, release for manufacture, acquisition from manufacture, control over finished products warehouse, procurement and shipment management, work progress planning and control in terms of projects.
As a result, the speed of response under the competitive market conditions has increased, labor intensity for certain design and production processes has decreased, and objective data on plant activities has been provided. All these factors along with streamlined plant procurement management and current stock optimization conducted by the Technovek logistics department have enabled them to free some of the working assets and lighten the credit burden on the company.
Currently, the plant is planning to ensure 100% production procurement using reserve stocks and uninterrupted material supply to order. The ERP system will also help eliminate changes in terms or deviations from goods' shipping schedule.
