Demandware, Inc., provider of enterprise cloud commerce solutions, has been named by Gartner, Inc. as a leader in its Magic Quadrant for digital commerce.

Out of 21 companies evaluated, Demandware has been named as one of only four leaders in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. Demandware is the first and only enterprise cloud commerce platform to deliver integrated capabilities that support a unified consumer experience.

"Our placement in the leaders quadrant is a validation of our dedication and commitment to innovation and to our clients," Tom Ebling, chief executive officer, Demandware. "Customer success is at the heart of everything we do, and we pride ourselves on delivering continuous innovative enterprise-class capabilities that empower leading global retail brands to move faster and grow faster."

Gartner defines digital commerce platforms as platforms that facilitate purchasing transactions over the web, and support the creation and continuing development of online relationships with consumers or business customers across multiple retail, wholesale, mobile, direct and indirect sales, digital sales, and call centre channels.

A Gartner Magic Quadrant is the culmination of research on vendors in a specific market; providing a wide-angle view of the relative positions of the market's competitors. Established and proven, the Gartner Magic Quadrant is the go-to resource for an objective perspective on technology and service markets.
