Coles Supermarkets selects Isotrak as its telematics solutions provider

Isotrak, the fleet management software and fleet telematics systems provider, has announced a landmark deal as it continues to expand its international footprint. Coles Supermarkets, one of Australia's leading retail chains, with more than 2,300 retail outlets, has chosen to partner with Isotrak for the implementation of a telematics solution and fleet visibility programme for Coles' Victoria fleet.

In the second phase of implementation, Coles will look to roll out the solution to the national fleet, comprising of approximately 1,500 trucks and trailers.

Isotrak has been operating internationally for a number of years, with Coles being the latest in a growing list of customers across the globe to improve its fleet visibility and reduce operational waste. Coles recognised the strategic benefits of partnering with Isotrak, with its deep understanding of the grocery retail space and attention to quality and integrity of goods. With 25% of the world's top food retailers using Isotrak products, Isotrak is the definitive leader in grocery retail and food distribution.

''We are delighted to be working with Coles Supermarkets. We demonstrated how Isotrak's technology helps the industry look beyond standard fuel efficiency benefits and save even more, and Coles knew we were the right fit," said Greville Coe, Group Managing Director at Isotrak. "Isotrak sees Australia as a key growth territory and plans to invest more in the region on the back of the Coles deployment."

Isotrak has invested in the expansion of its flagship supply chain visibility solutions to access and exploit mobile and business data – which can be used to save costs, increase efficiency and, ultimately, improve customer service by giving the right people access to the right data at the right time. As part of this initiative, Isotrak has expanded the capabilities of its real-time ATMSi fleet management system and deployed its new 3iS FleetVision solution, which uses business intelligence data to provide retailers and manufacturers with "total vision" of their transportation eco-system – including their own fleets as well as those of third party operators.
