HighJump, a global provider of supply chain management software, has announced that Parts Town has selected HighJump Warehouse Advantage warehouse management system (WMS). Parts Town is a provider of genuine OEM restaurant and food service parts, and serves some of the most recognisable food and beverage brands on the market.

Parts Town chose the HighJump WMS to strengthen the productivity, accuracy and efficiency of its distribution centre. The company will have the ability to pick by zone to improve productivity, and the WMS' embedded quality assurance processes will help improve shipment quality with cleaner customer-facing labels and packing lists. The HighJump WMS provides a foundation of best practices in all areas of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking and shipping. Parts Town can leverage the open architecture of the solution to configure it to any of its specific business needs - now or in the years to come.

"The HighJump WMS is a Tier 1 solution that is easy to use and administer," said Jeff Musur, vice president of operations and shared services at Parts Town. "We liked that the upgrade path is simple and that the solution can scale with our growth."

"We are pleased to provide Parts Town with the best practices needed to strengthen current operations and the flexibility needed to grow with their customer demands," said Chad Collins, chief operating officer, HighJump. "The company's supply chain will be a key part of its continued success."
