Infor, the industry cloud company, has announced that Total Produce Nordic, part of the global Total Produce group, has invested in Infor M3. The enterprise resource planning (ERP) application will help drive ambitious growth targets for Total Produce Nordic.

Total Produce Nordic has two major operating units: EverFresh - the largest importer and seller of fruits and vegetables in Sweden, and fruit, vegetable and flower import leader, Lembcke in Denmark. As the group has grown, Total Produce Nordic felt the need for an ERP system that could facilitate cross-border visibility and traceability of goods, smoother administrative processes and improved management information.

Following a thorough review of the market, Infor M3 was chosen on its lower total cost of ownership (TCO), scalability and high degree of fresh food industry-specific functionality needed to fit Total Produce Nordic's business processes.
"We chose Infor M3 not only because the product fits our fresh food industry needs perfectly, but there was a clear cultural alignment between Total Produce Nordic and Infor," said Tom Stengade, CFO, Total Produce Nordic. "We look forward to more accurate and transparent information on our products across the borders of the Nordics and smoother processes such as inter-company invoices. This will help us grow and develop a strong leadership position."

Soren Pedersen, country manager for Denmark, Infor added: "Fast moving food companies such as Total Produce Nordic need a system that is specific to their needs in order to help protect the razor-thin margins within the fresh food industry. Building on our deep domain expertise, Infor delivers an application that as standard meets the requirements of TPN to a very great extent and as a result offers a much lower TCO. This combination will help Total Produce Nordic grow throughout the region as it evolves its service offering."
