Cooper Software improves export capability at Farrow & Ball

Known for names such as Elephant's Breath and Dead Salmon, UK-based luxury paint and wallpaper producers Farrow & Ball has chosen leading Scottish mid-market technology consultancy, Cooper Software, to improve both its warehouse pick and pack and international export processes using their ACQUIRE software.

The ACQUIRE barcoding mobile data capture and RF system is designed specifically for ERP users. An off the shelf end-to-end product, it is integrated to any ERP picking process within the Automated Supply Chain, allowing for complete visibility of the picking process.

Farrow & Ball are the first to experience the next level of capabilities available with ACQUIRE. The project was implemented in two phases on their current ERP system, IFS. Phase one required software to increase speed and accuracy of shipments for domestic pick and pack via several carriers, which is traditionally where ACQUIRE has been utilised. Then for phase two the enhanced ACQUIRE software was able to deliver similar improvements in speed and accuracy, whilst creating an interface for their international export facility and with the multiple globally recognised carriers they work with.
