LinkFresh, provider of supply chain ERP solutions designed specifically for the fresh food industry, has announced the latest product release for its LinkFresh ERP suite on Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
LinkFresh ERP is built on the world-class Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP technology, and is officially 'Certified for Microsoft Dynamics'.
The latest release includes features to further enhance productivity for food supply chain users, including thirteen new enhancements to the LinkFresh Farming module, further improvements to both the warehouse mobility and production touch-screen services.
Summary of LinkFresh ERP new features
LinkFresh Farming functionality has been enhanced further with additional features including the introduction of works orders, crop/harvest planning, harvest shrinkage and harvest resource allocation, amongst many more.
Works orders in LinkFresh Farming facilitates the management of assigning resources to various tasks for both farming and non-farming based jobs, through means of a single consolidated screen. Additionally, the facility to substitute items used on a farming job with another item has also been added. Also, LinkFresh Farming can link employee and fixed assets information to a resource used by farming jobs.
LinkFresh supply chain forecasting and planning has been expanded to take into consideration the supply from a harvest yield through LinkFresh Farming, to a number of different business demands including sales or production activities.
Harvest shrinkage offers the ability to record changes in the volume or weight of any crop that has been harvested, through the possible reduction in moisture content. The shrinkage facility within LinkFresh Farming takes the system administrative burden away from the user for any such changes to a crop from an inventory perspective.
A NEW LinkFresh farming user role centre has been created added. Role centres are designed to aid user productivity by conveniently presenting the user with a role tailored, real time snapshot of all data and operational information pertinent to their role on one screen.
LinkFresh warehouse mobility has been expanded to include an improved production output mobile application.
LinkFresh production touchscreen services have been enhanced to further improve to visibility of live item, packaging and labelling data.
