TXT Retail, provider of integrated and collaborative end-to-end planning solutions, has announced that Pandora, one of the world's largest jewellery brands, is implementing TXT Retail Planning as its global planning platform.

The solution will support pre-season and in season planning, range planning, assortment planning and initial allocation, complementing the TXTPlanning store replenishment module which has been successfully deployed - on time and on budget - across the German, Swiss and Austrian regions.

The €1.2 billion retailer is applying the TXT AgileFit deployment methodology which captures TXT's planning best practices and domain expertise. TXT AgileFit provides PANDORA with a pre-configured starting point, reference processes and a full set of documentation that expedites analysis work and facilitates rapid deployments, while reducing time to accrue benefits.

A vision to become the world's most recognised jewellery brand, PANDORA designs, manufactures and markets hand-finished and modern jewellery. In just a few years, the Group has made the exceptional journey from a local Danish jeweller's shop in 1982 to a world-leading jewellery company, present in more than 80 countries in 6 continents with 10,000 points of sale, including 1,200 concept stores.

In this context of rapid global growth and increased business complexity, TXT Retail Planning will help PANDORA improve planning accuracy while integrating the merchandising process from strategy to customer. The global project rollout spans all markets and channels: the retail, wholesale and online channels, franchisee, distributors and all store types.

"With our multichannel business growing so quickly, ever faster product innovation rates and vast assortment developments, integrated planning was a clear opportunity for us. TXT Retail Planning allows for more accurate planning and end-to-end visibility across the business. Retailing calls for strict deadlines and the release of replenishment planning on budget and in just 4 months - producing excellent quality order recommendations - was a fantastic achievement," said Jonathan DelFino, Vice President Merchandise Planning at Pandora.

Mark Stone, Chief Operating Officer EMEA at TXT commented: "We are proud to work with a leading brand such as PANDORA and delighted of their appreciation for the work done so far. We have invested in AgileFit and have now released several strategic planning processes using that methodology this year.

AgileFit is proving a perfect match to the sense of urgency that we have found at Pandora. Pandora like other leading global fashion and luxury leaders need to be effective and rapid in evolving their global processes, business models and supporting systems. The speed and reliability of deployments provided by AgileFit are key benefits for today's retailers."
