Epson has strengthened its existing relationship with distributor and technology solutions provider, Box Technologies, by appointing the company as a systems Integrator for its Business Systems division.   The agreement, which comes into effect on 1 April 2014, will see Box Technologies selling Epson's TM Intelligent' range of printers to tier one retailers across the UK

Box Technologies is Epson UK's longest serving channel partner, having worked with the company for 25 years.  The new relationship will see Box selling Epson's latest range of intelligent printers: Epson TM-T88V-I and TM-T70-I, as well as a range of other products and solutions tailored for the retail industry.

Epson's intelligent printers enable users to print out receipts, tickets and coupons at the point of sale, as well as in back office and kitchen environments, directly from tablets and other mobile devices.  In addition the ePOS print technology means the new printers can control cash drawers and other Epson TM printers, improving systems interfaces and streamlining communications between peripherals, such as front-of-house machines and kitchen printers.

Andrew Coxall, distribution account manager - business systems at Epson UK says: "This new agreement cements even further our long term relationship with Box Technologies and underlines the strength of the partnership that already exists. Their appointment as systems integrator is in recognition of their skills, technical expertise and market knowledge and we look forward to working with them for many more years to come".

Conor Begley, operations director at Box Technologies, added: "We have had a strong relationship with Epson for some time now, and I am delighted that the business systems division has chosen to further extend this, providing us the opportunity to market their products directly to the retailers that we already have good relationships with."
