De Rijke, the international third party logistics provider with 28 facilities in 9 countries throughout Europe and the Middle East, has selected the Kewill MOVE platform - an end-to-end solution for managing the complexities of transportation, logistics and trade compliance. The software will enable De Rijke to better connect its business, improve visibility and drive increased operational efficiency.
A multinational company with more than 2,000 employees, De Rijke delivers comprehensive logistical solutions to customers mainly in the chemical, petro-chemical, food, equipment and retail industries. By implementing the Kewill platform to manage its multimodal transportation, warehousing and multi-country customs, it will be able to share key supply chain data across its operations, initially in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, gaining full visibility of shipments as well as real-time data on capacity, rates and schedules.
The integrated Kewill solution will replace the existing separate TMS, WMS, freight forwarding and customs systems, removing the need for manual processing or duplication of effort, and enabling tracking of performance against KPI's across the organization. It will also handle financials, from point of order right through to invoice settlement.
Of critical importance for De Rijke, which works closely with a network of partners, the implementation will facilitate improved collaboration, further extending the reach and the benefits of the Kewill platform.
