Motion Computing, the provider of mobile technology, will partner with Handsfree, the in-vehicle technology installation expert, to deliver in-Vehicle computing solutions to the EMS markets in North America and the UK.  As a Motion Preferred Installer (MPI) Handsfree will supply and install the CL series Tablet PC for front line fire, ambulance and police organisations.

"Over the past 12 years, we've helped optimise the performance of mobile workers across many sectors through rugged tablet PCs, tailored accessories and services," said Ian Davies, country manager at Motion.   "We developed our In-Vehicle Computing Solutions for the growing number of mobile workers who rely on tablets inside their vehicles.  As with all our solutions – the In-Vehicle Solutions are designed to be flexible enough to enhance multiple workflows but also durable enough to meet both the safety and quality standards demanded by fire, ambulance and police organisations as well as utility and other field service companies."

"Partnering with companies like Handsfree means we can offer customers complete peace of mind that the installation of their technology will mean not only are they compliant with all the necessary regulations, but will also mean that workflows are efficient and that they will get the maximum return on their investment.

"A complete vehicle mobile data solution is more complex than many organisations expect," said Matthew Johnson, director, Handsfree.  "From special brackets and cradles to wiring looms, to mounts and charging, many EMS organisations are now realising the benefits of tablets on the front line. We are very excited to be chosen as a Motion Preferred Installer and look forward to developing solutions throughout the UK."
