Ortec has added two new members to its Supervisory Board; both have been appointed as non-executives for a three year term. The new members are Jac Braat, former CIO and Chief Supply Chain Officer of Philips Lighting and lecturer at Tilburg University, and Stefan Schulz, SAP expert and SAP Supervisory Board member. "We are delighted to welcome Jac Braat and Stefan Schulz as members of the Board. Their expertise and experience will support us in our ongoing efforts to realize our international growth ambitions", said Ortec CEO Aart van Beuzekom.

In his former role as CIO and CSCO of Philips Lighting, Jac Braat has extensive experience of strategy development and implementation for supply chain management, information management and information technology. Currently, Jac holds a position as principal consultant at Argus-i, sits on the Supply Chain Council and, in past roles, worked for Philips Electronics and Accenture. Jac lectures in applied Econometrics and Operations Research at the University of Tilburg - with a focus on Logistics Management/Supply Chain Management - based on his personal experience during many years as an executive business manager.

Stefan Schulz joined SAP in 1998 and has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2002. His main tasks include evaluating software patents, promoting consistency in software architecture and continuous improvement in product security. Before coming to SAP, Stefan worked in strategy consulting and executive recruitment. He graduated from the University of Freiburg in Germany in 1993 with a degree in Economics, and in 2001 completed a degree in business administration with the University of Hagen in Germany.
