Vanderlande Industries nominated for Dutch Sourcing Awards

Vanderlande Industries has been nominated in the Operational Excellence and Step Change categories for the Dutch Sourcing Awards 2013 competition. The annual Dutch Sourcing Awards competition spotlights Dutch purchase teams that have successfully upgraded the sourcing function within their own organisation through innovation. The winners will be announced on 4 April 2013.

Professional purchase organisation

In the Step Change category, the award will go to the company that has made the greatest improvement in terms of purchasing organisation professionalism. Vanderlande Industries has also been nominated in the Operational Excellence category. This award is reserved for the company that has brought management and organisation of its sourcing function to a higher level through improvement and/or innovation. The other nominees include: Enexis, ABN AMRO, Essent, Fokker Technologies, ING Insurance, Koninklijke BAM Groep, Nedtrain, PON and VGZ.

On Friday 22 March, Vanderlande Industries' Corporate Procurement & Logistics Department will be given the opportunity of presenting its team performance to the jury and convincing the jurors that both submissions are worthy of an award. The award ceremony for the Dutch Sourcing Award competition will take place on 4 April 2013 in Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin, Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
