Quality and accuracy top the agenda for Hellyar Plastics

Hellyar Plastics, a UK independent compounder and distributor of thermoplastics, has asked Episys, the global information technology solutions and services company, to provide it with a new labelling solution to ensure accurate processes on key production runs.

Mark Taylor, Manager of IT Services at Hellyar Plastics, says, "We first purchased an Episys software solution 15 years ago and it has been an instrumental part in ensuring that our labelling system runs smoothly at critical times.  The recent installation of the new Software went very smoothly because their staff understood our needs and the limitations within our business."

"As result of the way that the Episys solutions have performed for us, we will also be looking to the future by investigating other ways that Episys can assist us in creating better processes.  With the recent upgrade we know that we are in good hands and we look forward to continuing to benefit from their service."

Ultimate™ Gold is a fully featured label design and printing solution that puts Hellyar Plastics in complete control of its label production.  Fixed text can be put into a design and automatically sized to fit within a defined area.  Barcodes, graphics and objects can be placed on the design and resized and rotated. A Print Manager can be invoked to optimize the efficiency and accuracy of label printing tasks complete with a Print Preview function. Ultimate™ can print to a wide variety of printing devices and does not require labels to be defined for a specific printer.

Derek Buchanan, CEO of Episys worldwide, said, "Hellyar Plastics is an established name in the thermoplastics industry and we are very proud to be associated with them.  Our legacy solutions have played a substantial role over this period of time and their upgrade to Ultimate Gold will undoubtedly ensure that they are able to continue manufacturing a top quality product".
