ByBox reports that it is expanding its network of lockers to cope with ‘snowballing’ demand. Site hosts, whether they are retail parks, shopping centres, petrol stations or even local retailers are being offered annual fees for simply hosting a ByBox locker. As well as the fee that they will be paid for hosting, they will benefit from increased footfall and will also be offered extended marketing opportunities as the screens on the lockers can be branded and offer upselling opportunities. Additionally location hosts will also have the opportunity to use the lockers themselves to receive and return items.
 
ByBox specialises in delivering parcels to a nationwide locker network. The lockers, which can be installed outside as well as inside, are already located at 1500 sites across the UK and can be used by businesses to send items to their field teams or for consumers to get their online shopping delivered. ByBox offers a convenient and highly reliable solution for people who are not normally at home when parcels are delivered and have to go through the headache of rearranging a delivery or collecting from a depot.
 
Customers receive a text or an email when a parcel is delivered into the locker and can collect at their convenience by entering a unique code. ByBox makes 20 million deliveries a year and with demand rapidly expanding, they are looking for site hosts.
