Handheld Group appoints Nils Lennartsson as new Service and Support Manager

The Handheld Group, a rapidly growing manufacturer of rugged PDAs and mobile devices, has appointed Nils Lennartsson as the new service and support manager. As service and support manager, Lennartsson will be responsible for the important service and support functions to Handheld's customers across the globe. Handheld is the fastest growing manufacturer of rugged mobile computers in the world.
 
"Over time, what will differentiate one manufacturer from another is their respective ability to offer soft added values such as superior service and support. The addition of Nils adds yet another piece of that puzzle for us," said Jerker Hellström, CEO, Handheld Group. Lennartsson has military training and education as an officer, and decade-long experience from technical services in the Swedish Navy. He has also worked in senior positions in the construction industry.
 
Lennartsson took up his new position as service and support manager on May 1st. He will be based at Handheld's global headquarters in Lidköping, Sweden. The Handheld Group has local offices in Finland, the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Australia and the USA.

I believe that my organizational skills and previous experience of working with technology and leadership will be valuable in further strengthening and developing the important service and support function," said Lennartsson.
 
Handheld's line-up of rugged PDAs and mobile computers is specifically developed for use in tough environments in industries such as  geomatics, logistics, forestry, public transportation, construction, mining,  field service, utilities, maintenance, public safety, military, and security.
