Barloworld Supply Chain Software opens new office in France

Global supply chain planning company, Barloworld Supply Chain Software (Barloworld SCS) is opening a new office in Paris, France on 20 June to help enhance local service levels.

Opening the new office follows a number of successes for Barloworld SCS in France in recent years, with customers including ThyssenKrupp Aerospace, Carglass France and FM Logistic. Gilles Alais, Country Manager - France at Barloworld Supply Chain Software, attributes these successes to the quality of the Barloworld SCS product suite and the level of support available to customers.

"Barloworld SCS provides a full suite of supply chain software solutions to assist business with supply chain planning, strategy and inventory optimisation, supported by supply chain consultancy and customer support" comments Gilles Alais. "Adding a local support base in France will enhance the service offering and level of support in the country."

There are four principle software solutions offered by Barloworld SCS. These include supply chain network modelling software, 'CAST Aurora', the multi-echelon inventory optimisation software, 'CINO', for inventory planning strategy, and 'Optimiza Demand Planner' and 'Optimiza Inventory Planner' for optimised inventory management and demand management.
