Field ID safety management software achieves Motorola solutions validation

Field ID, the provider of cloud-based safety compliance management software, has achieved Motorola Solutions validation. The designation provides users and partners with assurance that Field ID's safety inspection and audit system is interoperable with Motorola mobile computers.

Field ID automates safety compliance and inspection management by combining electronic identification (RFID - Radio Frequency Identification - and barcodes) with mobile handheld computers and the Web to automate antiquated, paper-based processes. In conjunction with Field ID software, mobile computers are used to collect and store records of equipment and facility inspections in a secure, cloud-based infrastructure.

Motorola Solutions' Validated Solution Program enables partners to test and validate their mobility solutions on Motorola products to help ensure interoperability and meet the user application-specific needs, as well as reduce both the risk level and the time to deployment for the user. Working closely with engineering teams, Field ID has been tested and co-validated on select products, including the Motorola ES400, MC75A, MC55A and MC65.
