Ortec and Paragon take strategic partnership to the next level AIMMS Service Partnership agreement renewed

The Ortec Consulting Group and Paragon Decision Technology have taken their strategic collaboration to the next level with a renewed partnership agreement. This signing paves the way for the Ortec Consulting Group to use AIMMS technology to build additional optimisation solutions for both the Oil, Gas & Chemicals and Transport and Logistics industries.

As Lambert van der Bruggen, CEO of Ortec, explains: "The extended partnership falls perfectly in line with Ortec 's strategic vision and ambitions. In the realm of consulting and implementation services, our aim is to deliver smart decision solutions that our clients can use to make faster and better risk-adjusted decisions in an hypercompetitive environment."

With over 25 experienced AIMMS consultants, who serve customers such as Shell and TNT, the Ortec Consulting Group continues to be an important partner of Paragon (since 2003). Ortec's consultants not only use the AIMMS mathematical optimization platform to evaluate business strategies, but they are also skilled in the implementation of AIMMS-based decision support solutions. This enables organisations to validate their business cases and make well informed and quantified decisions as and when required..

Gijs Dullaert, CEO of Paragon Decision Technology comments: "By uniting business and applied mathematics in this way, we create a competitive advantage for companies wishing to make a great leap forward in enhancing their results. We have a valuable strategic partner in Ortec - not only are they using our optimisation technology to help organizations to improve their operations, but they also provide customers with greater insight into potential business improvement opportunities and the impact of any improvements on their bottom line results."
