Exel Computer Systems, UK author of integrated business solutions, has announced it was very encouraged by the positive response to its Eagle Scheduling Board at the Service Management Expo. Held at the Birmingham NEC on 20th-21st September, this years' Service Management Expo was one of the most successful yet with many visitors showing interest in the company's Eagle Field Service Management (FSM) solution.

Jonathan Orme, Marketing Manager for Exel Computer Systems outlines the key benefits that the Eagle Scheduling Board will bring to Service Management companies. "The Eagle Scheduling Board uses assisted scheduling to aid the operator in making the right engineer scheduling decision first time, every time. This ensures that not only is the operator more efficient, but also that the best scheduling decisions are being made for the business making the engineers' days more efficient and cost effective."

Commenting on the Expo as a whole, he continues, "We spoke with many visitors with very specific demands from a Field Management Solution, most notably one that integrates with other main areas of their business. Traditional FM systems tend to operate as stand-alone solutions that require varying degrees of integration and often result in data duplication. In today's more competitive environment, service management companies need instant access to real time data across their entire business from the back office to each service engineer. Eagle was designed from the outset to meet these challenges as well as those that may arise in the future."
