In the ever-changing industry of post, mail and express delivery, it is important for operators to find new ways to improve efficiency, reduce paperwork and data entry errors, increase quality of service, and develop new services. At Post Expo 2011 (27 -29 September, Stuttgart Messe, Stuttgart, Germany), Zetes will be presenting its range of auto-ID and data-capture solutions that help achieving these goals.

At the Zetes booth (number 8058, hall 1) customers will have the opportunity to see live demos and presentations of these solutions:

  • Electronic proof of delivery (ePOD) solutions: they help ensure that packages are being handed out in a timely manner and to the right party. Zetes state-of-the-art solutions make use of electronic signatures but can also integrate with fingerprint recognition or the reading of electronic identity cards.
  • Track and trace solutions: using barcodes, image-based or RFID technology, these solutions help prevent package loss  and provide real-time visibility on packages in transit.
  • Cold chain management: Some items, such as food products or medicines, need to be kept at certain temperatures during transportation. Solutions using RFID sensor tags allow the monitoring of temperatures at any time during transportation.
  • TotalCare service: Zetes TotalCare helps customers  improve the lifecycle management of their entire auto-ID infrastructure, while keeping maintenance and repair costs at a minimum.

Zetes solutions for the postal market integrate equipment of all leading manufacturers. Customers include, among others, TNT, DHL, Torrestir, Chronopost, Kuhne + Nagel, and Nightline.
