JDA Software announces release of space-aware Assortment Optimisation solution

JDA Software Group, Inc., the supply chain company, has announced the release of JDA Assortment Optimisation, an expanded space and category management offering for retailers and their suppliers. JDA Assortment Optimisation delivers space aware item assortment capabilities, a key innovation element in the planned enhancement roadmap for JDA's world-class Space & Category Management solution suite. One early adopter is Coles, a leading Australian food retailer. Coles is a long-time JDA customer that provided input during the development process to help JDA deliver a solution that offers real-world results and truly space-aware item assortments.

JDA Assortment Optimisation is part of the integrated, industry-leading JDA Space & Category Management suite. These comprehensive solutions help the world's leading retailers and suppliers plan, execute and analyse demand-based category and assortment strategies to profitably deliver customer value at the store shelf. JDA Assortment Optimisation is the result of converging JDA Efficient Item Assortment and JDA Shelf Assortment.
