Bridgestone Europe has selected OMP Plus from OM Partners for central production planning and detailed scheduling of its European tire factories for all technologies: car tires, light truck tires, truck/bus tires and agricultural tires.
OMP Plus will offer a central solution for integrated planning and scheduling of building and curing in all factories, including a connection with the local MES systems. This OMP Plus implementation with advanced solver aims at, amongst others, multi sourcing, machine load planning, mould planning, material planning and production grouping / sequencing to minimize setups. This will be achieved taking into account finished product stocks, network safety stocks and demand. Moreover, OMP Plus will also be integrated in the Bridgestone SAP environment.
