VoiteQ rises to Allied Bakeries' demanding service requirement

Allied Bakeries has selected VoiteQ to maintain and support their estate of over 280 Vocollect Talkman devices. Following a comprehensive tender process and a successful trial at an Allied Bakeries' site, Allied Bakeries chose VoiteQ due to their consistently high level of customer service, pro-actively managed maintenance and UK based Vocollect approved repair centre.


 
Paul Hannant, Allied Bakeries' National Logistics Manager commented, "We were impressed by the quality and the rapid repair service that VoiteQ offers. The fact that VoiteQ can support all of the hardware we use in our operation, from voice units to access points and scanners, means that we have a single point of contact to deal with for any hardware issues we encounter."
 
Hannant continued, "The Talkman devices are a key part of our operation, any time that they are out of use has the potential to impact on our productivity, accuracy and usability, so it is essential that they are repaired and returned to us as quickly as possible. Being able to send the devices to VoiteQ's UK based centre cuts down the delivery time for the units to be sent further afield, meaning they can quickly be back in operation in the DC."
 
Allied Bakeries currently use wearable Vocollect Talkman devices to pick their products and fulfil customer orders from their extensive operation that spans nineteen distribution centres across the UK. It was vital to Allied Bakeries that the transition of the hardware support was well managed and organised. VoiteQ ensured that there was no down time for any of the depots during this transition and Allied Bakeries' world class level of customer service was maintained.
 
Following a successful trial of VoiteQ's services at their Stockport distribution centre, Allied Bakeries were convinced by VoiteQ's capabilities, having proven the speed and quality of their repair service. VoiteQ support not only includes hardware repairs, but also pro-active visits to the distribution centres by a qualified engineer to perform a preventative maintenance review and to offer advice on how to best maintain the equipment. VoiteQ are Europe's most experienced Vocollect certified Repair centre, having over 10 years' knowledge and expertise of implementing and maintaining Vocollect Voice hardware and software. The service centre currently supports many thousands of Talkman units and headsets on an overnight repair basis.
