Eagle Field Service helps Haigh Engineering's service team soar

Exel Computer Systems, the UK-based author and developer of the Eagle Field Service Management (FSM) system, has announced the successful roll out of Eagle at Haigh Engineering. While the existing performance of the Haigh service team is at a high level, the company and its customers are set to benefit through shortened response times resulting in minimal downtime of their Sluicemaster and Incomaster disposal equipment.  



The Haigh Engineering service team specialises in Haigh equipment, from the latest Sluicemaster developments across the range to the many installations around the UK which date back 15 to 20 years, even more in some cases. Proper maintenance to prevent unnecessary replacement is increasingly important in an age where budgets are being squeezed, as is the ability to ensure that customers are made aware of performance enhancements from new developments of their existing investment. In each case, the ability to correctly identify which customer is using which version of what product is vital as this allows improved response and delivery times which in turn enables Haigh customers to focus more on its own customers.

At the heart of this is the seamless integration of Eagle with Haigh Engineering's other computer systems, including the EFACS Enterprise Resource Planning system, also from Exel Computer systems. The direct link to the PDAs used by the service team removes any unnecessary re-keying of information as well as automatically synchronising information held across the company resulting in real time visibility at every level of the company from service engineer to the board room.
