Vanderlande Industries' VISION Warehouse Management System (WMS) has successfully been validated for the tenth year in a row by the renowned German Fraunhofer Institute of Logistics and Material Flow. The validation is performed each year by means of a questionnaire on about 500 different system functionalities, material flow controls, other key components and services of the software system provider.

When the Fraunhofer Institute started with this validation process 10 years ago, Vanderlande was the first company that participated with its VISION WMS and WCS solutions. Since then, Vanderlande has been successfully validated by the Fraunhofer Institute each year. The validation "seal of approval" is a de-facto quality standard for VISION's proven system functionalities and project deliveries.

During the validation process, a Fraunhofer auditor checks and verifies the information given by the supplier in the questionnaire by actually examining the software and by reviewing actual customer installations. This procedure ensures that the information given by the software supplier is accurate and that the software lives up to the supplier's promises.

Through this validation process, potential customers get a broad and objective insight into Vanderlande's powerful VISION Warehouse Management System (WMS).
