Preactor selects Flexera software to increase customer satisfaction

Flexera Software, provider of strategic solutions for Application Usage Management to application producers and their customers, has announced that planning and scheduling software solutions provider Preactor International has chosen FlexNet Publisher and FlexNet Operations to implement a more customer friendly entitlement management and compliance solution.  

Today, Preactor uses a mix of two third party licensing methods comprising SafeNet HASP HL dongles and Microcosm CopyControl software licensing. Preactor recognised some years ago that the logistics of issuing a dongle to every customer were not always practical when operating on an international scale.

Responding to customer feedback, Preactor recognised the need for a more flexible and customer friendly software licensing management solutionone that would be able to offer different software licensing modelsfrom node-locked  to concurrent and time-based.
 
Preactor selected Flexera Software's FlexNet Publisher and FlexNet Operations based on the company's ability to meet Preactor's internal and customer requirements, its dominant market position, and the strong reputation of the products in the market.  Preactor will implement and begin rolling out FlexNet Publisher across its suite of production planning and scheduling solutions by the end of this year. Preactor will also implement FlexNet Operations, including integration with its customer relationship management (CRM) system.
