Guascor Fotn implements Infor ERP LN to manage complex project-based operations

Infor, provider of business software for mid-market companies, has announced that Guascor Fotn, specialist in the sale, manufacture and installation of photovoltaic concentration solar systems, has implemented Infor ERP LN as an integrated management system to support the company's exceptional growth.

Guascor needed a new IT solution to support exceptional growth in sales and transaction volumes and its increases in personnel, from 20 to 100 in just a few months. Before implementing Infor's ERP LN solution, the majority of daily transactions were managed through Office applications and third party accounting software. Objectives of Infor's ERP implementation were to:

Support the whole supply chain from purchases, sales, stock management to quality control.

Better manufacturing management, including planning, production control and engineering processes.

Provide a strong financial application capable of handling all accounts, cost control and integrating its accounting data with that of its parent company, the Guascor Group.

Offer employees high functionality and usability, as well as a document management tool.

Infor ERP LN has already been successfully deployed in the finance and purchasing departments following testing and extensive user training sessions. The second stage of the LN deployment included a roll out to the department responsible for managing the company's solar park projects and also Guascor's technical assistance service unit.
