OATSystems, a division of Checkpoint Systems, announced at the recent RFID Journal Live event that Airbus has extended its contract for OATSystems expert Auto-ID and RFID software services for an additional three years.In what was noted at the time to be the manufacturing industrys single largest RFID software transaction to date, Airbus selected OATSystems and partners in early 2008 to provide a multi-million dollar, multi-year Auto-ID software platform.
Airbus has also entered into an initial two-year service contract with OATSystems to deploy its software platform, which is part of the Airbus Auto-ID standard corporate architecture. During this time, OATSystems has delivered variety of solutions to help Airbus streamline operations across supply chain, manufacturing and assembly domains.
