BASF Orgamol plans and schedules its production with OMP Plus

BASF Orgamol Pharma Solutions SA, a unit of the worlds leading chemical company BASF SE, has selected OMP Plus from OM Partners for the production planning of exclusive and generic Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), advanced intermediates and fine chemicals. Eight production plants (6 in Switzerland and 2 in France) are in scope of the project.
 
OMP Plus will steer an integrated production planning process aligning production to S&OP requirements. OM Partners software solution will offer solutions for the typical planning and scheduling challenges of the API industry like multi-level synthesis campaign scheduling with varying lot sizes and varying connections of multi-purpose equipments. Planning decisions are taken in OMP Plus and seamlessly fed to the SAP environment.
