Epicor Wins IT Innovation Award at CeBIT

Epicor Software Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and divisions of Global 1000 companies, today announced that it received the IT Innovation Award 2010 in the category for enterprise resource planning (ERP) system from Initiative Mittelstand, a German initiative for medium-sized companies. The award show took place at CeBIT 2010 in Hannover, Germany.

Several hundred guests from various industries, including the IT and telecommunication sector, attended the show where the Initiative Mittelstand honored the leading IT innovations of the year for mid-sized businesses. A panel of 80 professors, scientists, and journalists as well as industry and IT experts evaluated the submitted solutions against such criteria as innovation, practical relevance and suitability for medium-sized businesses.

The award highlights Epicors innovative and flexible solutions, based on Web 2.0 and True SOA technologies with an affordable pricing model that suits medium-sized companies.
