Invensys Operations Management and Preactor Combine to Supply APS, MES and EMI Solutions to Scandinavia Manufacturers

Invensys Operations Management, a global provider of technology systems, software solutions and consulting services to the process and manufacturing industries, have announced that Wonderware Scandinavia, a wholly-owned distributor within Invensys Operations Management, has been appointed a network partner by Preactor International, the worlds leading specialist planning and scheduling software company. 

As a Preactor network partner, Wonderware Scandinavia will help continue and extend Preactors growth in Denmark, Sweden and Norway by providing the complete range of Wonderware manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise manufacturing intelligence (EMI) software solutions embedded with Preactor technology, including Preactors advance planning and scheduling (APS) software.

Invensys Operations Management and Preactor International are not new to each other. Last year, the two companies cemented their alliance with the integration of the Preactor Finite Capacity Scheduling module in the Wonderware Operations systems. The two companies were also jointly selected by Chr. Hansen, a leading Danish biotech and food ingredient supplier, to provide Wonderware MES and EMI software for global deployment. Preactor will deliver production planning and scheduling software, connecting Chr. Hansens plant floor through the Wonderware MES layer.

The Chr. Hansen project builds on the growing relationship between two industry leaders, leveraging renowned MES, EMI and APS software and expertise. Anticipated benefits include the ability to compare data across production sites, as well as the ability to access global and local data to improve allocations for batch production.
