Sage UK enters upper mid market with launch of Sage ERP X3

Business software and services provider Sage (UK) has announced the UK launch of Sage ERP X3, its global enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.

Proven in 38 countries as a robust, highly scalable and easy to integrate business management system, which can take as little as 35-55 days to implement, Sage ERP X3 is the ideal platform for growing global businesses.

As many of our UK customers increasingly expand their international footprint, Sage has the understanding and expertise to help them avoid making costly, cumbersome and complex investments. That is why we have brought our leading and cost effective international ERP solution to the UK market, explained Jim Scott, General Manager, Sages Enterprise Business. Unlike many enterprise software providers that have scaled down their solutions for the mid-market, Sage ERP X3 was developed for the mid-market from day one and is already used by more than 70,000 users across the globe in 2,500 companies, such as Fiat or Saint-Gobain Semiconductor.

Sage ERP X3 is fully customisable and easy to configure, with a range of multi-platform desktop client and web-based deployment combinations. Leveraging Oracle or Microsoft SQL server databases, Sage ERP X3 offers outstanding scalability and performance. Sage ERP X3 already supports the relevant languages, currencies and legislation of 38 countries to ensure 1st class global functionality in finance, sales, CRM, inventory management, purchasing and manufacturing. Thanks to its intuitive user-friendly interface based on Sage Visual Processes, embedded Business Intelligence and integrated CRM functionality, Sage ERP X3 provides a rich user experience that improves collaboration and increases business insight, whilst reducing the costs and complexities of integrating operations across multiple territories.

With the freedom to choose a desktop or webtop interface, Sage ERP X3 is cost effective to deploy and easy to integrate with desktop and cloud-based productivity applications and services. For example, Microsoft Office integration with Sage ERP X3 business processes is widely acclaimed, enabling global enterprises to benefit from the cloud without losing control of their data. Users also benefit from Sage ERP X3s open and scalable architecture that runs on Windows, Unix and Linux and its rapid development environment, which does not require complex programming skills or upgrade procedures.

We have more than 28 years heritage, global scale, local support and expert consultancy, so our customers know that we future-proof their investments and can evolve to meet their needs over time, added Sages Jim Scott. Already, we have several of Sage UKs Enterprise Business Partners on board to help us meet the growing demand for Sage ERP X3 across the country.
