Manufacturing Performance Masterclass (MPM09)

Date: Thursday 15th October

Venue: Heritage Motor Centre, J12 M40 Warwickshire

Kicking off with a keynote address from the newly appointed Director of Manufacturing Insight for the BIS Department of Business Innovation & Skills, this years MPM09 agenda is packed with practical advice and insight on how to guarantee the future of British manufacturing. Joining the panel from Premier Foods, Constellation Europe, and Cadbury, the final line up now includes speakers from Saint- Gobain Gyproc and DePuy (a Johnson & Johnson company) as well.

The theme for the best-practice seminar this year is Manufacturing in difficult times, and includes a variety of case studies from a range of industries, revealing how to drive dramatic cost savings through operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Making every penny count in times of uncertainty is the only way to ensure plants are effective and in the best position when the health of the economy is restored, so the panel will be discussing innovative as well as tried and tested ways to improve operations and guarantee the future of your organisation.

The best way to predict the future is to create it.

Peter Drucker, Author Chaired by the renowned Peter Willmott, international authority on world class lean manufacturing, the Masterclass features a key note address from Director of Manufacturing Insight Nick Hussey, an opening presentation from John Bicheno, Director of MSc in Lean Operations at Cardiff University, and presentations from senior professionals from the range of well known brands (mentioned above).
