Four Soft (4S), a global leader offering software solutions for transportation and logistics, has recently signed a contract with Calderhead Refrigerated Transport, UK, to implement its warehouse management system - 4S eLog, in Calderheads temperature controlled warehousing operation.
The UK based company provides temperature controlled warehousing and transport solutions to a range of food manufacturers handling both raw materials and finished goods on behalf of their customers from their base in Redditch.
Calderhead required a modern warehouse management solution that would be able to rotate stock according to manufactured and expiration dates, a system able to automatically calculate their storage and handling charges (billing) and provide their customers with web access to their own stock levels along with being able to place orders electronically.

We also intend to use the system as a marketing tool to attract new business and retain existing customers.
