Cortado sets new standards for mobile business solutions

Cortado, a global leader in mobile applications, is today announcing a new version of the enterprise solution Cortado Corporate Server.

The new version 4.0 is equipped with entirely new print technology and offers further essential PC-type functions for BlackBerry smartphone users additional to existing mobile printing and faxing and the mobile file manager offered in the current version of the Cortado Corporate Server. The new version, that will enable BlackBerry users to be even more efficient when on the move, will be available in the second quarter of 2009.

For the new Cortado Corporate Server version 4.0, Cortado developed a completely new print technology which is currently pending patent approval. In addition to a variety of other functions, the new technology enables simple and quick printing virtually anywhere in any WLAN network.

Users can get excited! Among other functions, users of Cortado Corporate Server v4.0 will be able to make database queries and create PDFs directly from their BlackBerry smartphone, which will set new standards for mobile business solutions, said Thorsten Hesse, International Sales Manager for Cortado Enterprise Solutions. An investment in Cortado Corporate Server is recommended, especially in times of financial difficulty, for those who aim to reduce costs and simultaneously streamline performance. Thanks to the Cortado Corporate Server application, productivity of mobile workers can be significantly increased while at the same time back office work is substantially reduced.

Cortado Corporate Server reduces IT administration costs as mobile devices are integrated as assets into the corporate network like classic desktop PCs. Furthermore, a smartphone infrastructure is considerably more cost effective in acquisition and maintenance than one based on PCs and laptops:
