IFS wins Project Centric defence manufacturer contract

IFS Defence has received an order from a project centric defence supplier to provide IFS Applications licences, services and maintenance & support with an expected total value of SKr 55 million over 5 years.

The customer is one of the worlds leading defence manufacturer. The new ERP-system will support the companys production and IFS delivery includes IFS Application components for project control, manufacturing, inventory, purchasing and employee administration. Expected product revenues amounts to SKr 50 million over five years, of which some SKr 23 Million will be booked as revenue in the IFS Group in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Aerospace & Defence is a targeted industry vertical for IFS. IFS global capability is led by a dedicated business, IFS Defence Ltd, of which the IFS Group own 50%, helping its customers and partners to meet the future challenges of transformation through a low-risk, low total ownership cost, step-by-step capability evolution.
