Daikin chooses Servigistics for global service parts management

Servigistics, the leading strategic service management solution provider, has announced that Daikin Europe NV, a fully-owned subsidiary of Daikin Industries, Ltd., a global leader in manufacturing air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, and industrial use worldwide, has selected Servigistics Service Parts Management solution to increase service parts inventory efficiency while improving service levels across its European service network. 

Daikin will utilise the Servigistics solution to optimise its service parts inventory across a multi-echelon network in Europe, which consists of 45,000 part numbers.  Daikin selected Servigistics following a thorough evaluation process that verified the robust functionality of the Servigistics solution as well as Servigistics proven success across industries and global regions. 

We needed a solution that would easily integrate to our SAP ERP system already deployed and one that would enable us to establish a distributed network model and achieve global visibility and control over our parts, said Pieter Decloedt, European Service Manager.  We selected Servigistics because of their ability to deliver today, as well as their ability to support our long-term vision for strategic service management.
