Datalogic Mobile further expands the Kyman product line, its most rugged mobile computer series, with the availability of two new handled models, featuring Windows Mobile 6 and Extra Long Range (XLR) laser.

The Kyman-GUN Windows Mobile 6 operating system addresses warehousing environments, where Windows uniformity from desktop to mobile device reduces operator training needs. This embedded operating system also minimizes the cost of porting third party applications through use of a standards based approach.

The Kyman-GUN Extra Long Range (XLR) laser option is capable of reading a 40mil barcode at distances from 15 to 380 cm, depending on code resolution. Using reflective labels, this engine is capable of even greater distances.

Featuring the same winning characteristics of the Kyman product line, in terms of reliability, ruggedness, long run time, flexible communication and efficient data capture, the new Extra Long Range models provide warehouse associates with the most relevant features needed to operate in demanding environments. Kyman-GUN WM6 models with Extra Long Range Laser are specifically suited for cross docking and put away applications.
