About Transwide

Transwide are an on Demand Transport Execution Information Hub, operating Globally, across all transportation modes and with an Open and Modular Architecture, delivering workflow optimization, real-time transparency and KPIs Visibility.

Transwide Delivers Software as a Service (SaaS)

Transwide has been built and continues to be built in collaboration with its customers. This has always been a bottom up approach to product development. As a communication platform between Shippers and their logistic network we deliver tools which foster collaboration, it is therefore natural that we apply the same philosophy when working with our customers. Our Logistics and IT experts constantly listen to our customers and combine requests to make the platform evolve.

The end result is simply a set of solutions that are easy to learn, to use but yet have the flexibility of managing complex logistics processes.

Focus: Transport Execution Information Hub

From day one Transwide has realized that the communication element was the heaviest part of logistics network management and that transport execution was a black hole for most companies. Since then we focus on those two aspects to provide our clients with connectivity, functionality and visibility during the entire transport execution process. Connectivity with functionality is the key.

Deliver Value: Software as a Service (SaaS)

Delivering value starts with our application and all the business processes it covers, optimizing transport execution processes. It would already be a nice story but we enhance the delivered value by being a Software as a Service company. What does this mean?

1 No upfront investment in servers, software licenses and all the maintenance costs that go with those. Transwide is run directly from our servers. Your costs vary depending on your usage.

2 Easy to configure solutions with the support of our team. This means no 3rd party supplier to manage the project and no need to configure the application for months. In a few weeks you are up and running and get the benefit from our solutions.

3 A wide array of services delivered daily: a dedicated project manager ensures your implementation is on schedule and monitors the entire project; Transwide provides a multilingual customer support; we also have training and system integration specialists to interface your IT systems with the Transwide platform.

4 On demand product development. We consult our customers and collaborate closely with them to develop new functionalities and solutions. An updated version of Transwide is released two/three times a year and can be accessed by all users.

All those ingredients allow us to roll out projects at fast pace ensuring ROI is reached in months instead of years.

Product Suite:

With Transwides modular suite of products, customers can tailor solutions to their exact requirements, and can cover the entire transportation execution process.

twConnect is the module that allows the interfacing of your ERP or own IT system with the Transwide platform.

twCall-off is a communication tool to electronically create, send, receive and confirm transport orders between shippers and logistics providers.

twSlot provides a collaborative solution where shippers, receivers and carriers can efficiently manage the entire process of organizing time slots for incoming trucks at pick-up and delivery. Would you like to diminish waiting times on your site, avoid administrative workload, optimize your shipping capacities as well as better manage your teams and warehouses? twSlot offers you the solution!

twTrace is the Track & Trace module of Transwide. It allows shippers, carriers or senders to obtain and follow execution activity for all their call-offs.

twDoc issues transport documents (such as the CMR) electronically and stores them on the Transwide platform, giving all parties the opportunity to update and view the document during transit. All interested parties (shipper, logistics provider, end receiver) can access real-time data such as non-conformity reservation, loading and unloading times, estimated time of arrival, and more.

twControl is a pro-active exception management tool with an alert system signalling key personnel in the process with messages via email or fax when certain events occur.

twData captures data on all of the events which have taken place on the platform, including reason codes for delays and errors from all parties, giving shippers and logistics providers the opportunity to fully analyze the reasons for delivery and delay issues.

twReport is a tool to generate standard statistics on the most commonly used KPIs by using predefined templates. Users can then share these reports with others, have reports automatically refreshed and pushed to a user's mail box on a predefined frequency.
