Capita Fulfilment Services chooses Junction Solutions Retail ERP Solution

Junction Solutions, a provider of vertical industry focused enterprise software and services based on the Microsoft platform, has announced that Capita Fulfilment Services (CFS), a division of the leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and professional services organisation in the United Kingdom, The Capita Group, has chosen JunctionRES from Junction Solutions.

JunctionRES will replace its current 3EX fulfilment system in order to support aggressive growth requirements and provide additional value added services to its clients. 

Since its formation in 1984, CFS has been managing its wide array of clients' storage and fulfilment needs from brochures for the BBC to large pallets of birdseed for the RSPB. The UK call centre, located in Wetherby, includes over 180 call centre agents fulfilling an average of 75,000 orders per month. During the months of November and December, this number increases to around 120,000 orders per month.  

In order to execute aggressive key growth strategies to develop and drive the CFS business forward, it was imperative that CFS replace its existing 3EX fulfilment system with an ERP solution that could easily handle an increase in current order levels and the corresponding increase in demand placed on the warehouse and distribution network. It was also important to expand the business to provide a holistic solution across customer communications. After reviewing other ERP solution vendors including Maginus and K3 Syspro, CFS chose JunctionRES from Junction Solutions based on its flexibility, rich functionality, and Microsoft platform.  

In addition, the decision was made to not only implement the software in the CFS business, but to integrate it across the Capita Design and Print and Capita Print Management divisions as well. This holistic approach will provide clients with a full service offering from targeted customer print campaigns, order management and fulfilment to enhanced customer service. 

Built on the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP platform, JunctionRES provides a complete solution for complex customer call centres and fulfilment centres with rich order management and fulfilment, customer relationship management, and enhanced warehouse management functionality.
