OMP Plus taking integration to the next level

OMP Plus, OM Partners newest software solution, incorporates the latest integration technology and the vendors know how in supply chain planning.

For the first time, a software solution makes integrated demand planning, supply planning and scheduling a reality. With OMP Plus you can replace traditional, sequential and timeconsuming planning cycles by an integrated, synchronized planning approach.

OMP Plus allows you to work on different planning levels at the same time. You dont need to worry anymore about whether to acquire a forecasting, planning and/ or scheduling tool: OMP Plus does it all. That does not mean you have to buy all functionalities at once. Depending on your needs, you can pick the modules you require and combine them.

The new OMP Plus product is based on OM Partners OMP Supply Chain Suite, offering a solution for all planning related issues, from the strategic down to the operational level. OMP Plus now introduces in-memory integration of these planning modules.

Integrated Demand Planning and S&OP Planning

OMP Plus permits fully integrated forecasting, demand planning and Sales & Operations planning. A typical S&OP process can take several weeks to complete. Sales, Distribution, Production and Purchasing departments as well as Finance and General Management typically carry out exercises from their own perspective. With OMP Plus, you can speed up this process and change it into an integrated, synchronized process where the demand planning and shaping exercise is integrated with the development of a constrained supply plan.

Integrated Master Planning and Scheduling

OMP Plus permits integrated master planning and scheduling. A typical planning cycle starts with the creation of a volume-based, bucketized plan by the master planner. In the next step, local planning or production makes a production schedule, taking into account sequencing rules, individual machine availabilities, production feedback etc. With OMP Plus, the impact of changes in the short-term schedule will instantly be visible in the master plan and vice versa, increasing the performance of the planning exercise dramatically.
