Aldata Solution, a global leader in supply chain software for retail, wholesale and logistics companies and recent winner of the IT Europa award for "Best Solution: ISV Category, Communications and Mobility, will be showcasing two major solutions at this years Softworld.
The first is G.O.L.D. Vocal, Aldatas voice-driven warehouse solution for order preparation and the company will demonstrate a PDA version of the solution which is currently in operation at Leclerc Lecasud, the central buying and distribution group of French retail group, E. Leclerc amongst other major customers.
The advantages of voice technology in the warehouse are significant with productivity gains of between 20% - 40% depending on the process, reductions in order preparation errors by a factor of 5 - 10, improved quality service levels, very easy operator training and consequently a very fast deployment not to mention an overall return on investment in 6 months. G.O.L.D. Vocal is ready integrated with Aldatas leading WMS, G.O.L.D. Stock, but may also be implemented quickly and easily with any other WMS.
Aldata will also showcase G.O.L.D. Topase, a module of the G.O.L.D. Software family which ensures optimal stock replenishment in the warehouse through a service level-driven approach with seasonal forecasts and investment purchase recommendations. Topase is currently being used at French retail group, Auchan and many other global retail leaders.
